Privacy Policy for Photo Collage
Applies to the Photo Collage app for Android (package no.ludde.android.photocollage). Last updated: 26 September 2026.
Your privacy is important to Nordicsoft AS, and we design our services with privacy in mind. This policy explains what information Photo Collage uses, how it is used, and when anything leaves your device. In short: your photos and your collages stay on your device, and we do not collect personal data about you.
1. Your photos and collages
- The app reads the pictures and videos that are already on your device so that you can pick photos for a collage. On Android 13 and newer you choose whether to give access to all of your images or only to selected images; on Android 14 and newer you can also grant access to just a hand-picked selection.
- All editing — cropping, effects, borders, text and stickers — is done on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to Nordicsoft AS, and we never receive a copy of them.
- Saved collages are written to your device's gallery, or shared through whatever app you choose when you tap Share.
- Your projects and their thumbnails are stored only in the app's storage on your device. They are removed when you delete the project or uninstall the app.
Photo Collage does not require a user account, and Nordicsoft AS does not store your photos, your projects or your personal data on its servers.
2. What we do not collect
The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. We do not collect or share:
- your name, email address or any account details (the app has no sign-in);
- your photos, videos or the collages you create;
- your location;
- your contacts, calendar or microphone;
- advertising identifiers or other device identifiers for advertising.
3. Information sent from your device
- Configuration and content download — the app downloads a small configuration file from nordicsoft.com, which is used to check whether a newer version is available and to configure optional parts of the app, and it may download optional content such as backgrounds and stickers. The file contains no personal data, and we do not receive personal data from your device in return. Like any web request, our server can see the IP address your device connects from.
- Image search (optional) — if you use the optional image search feature to look for pictures online, the words you type are sent to Google's image search, and matching results (including the addresses of the images) are returned to your device. We do not receive or store your search terms. Google processes this request under the Google privacy policy.
- Feedback — if you choose the feedback option, your email app opens with a pre-filled message that includes your app version and device model. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data with anyone.
4. App permissions
- Photos and media — to let you pick pictures for a collage from your device and to read their orientation and type.
- Storage (Android 9 and older) — to save your finished collage to your device.
- Camera (optional) — used only if you choose to take a photo with your device's camera app; the picture is then handled on your device like any other photo.
- Internet and network state — to download the configuration/content described above, and to use the optional image search.
5. Advertising and in-app purchases
The app does not display advertisements, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not offer in-app purchases.
6. Children and teenagers
Photo Collage is a photo editing app intended for a general audience, including teenagers. The app does not collect personal data from anyone, and therefore collects no personal data from children. Because we do not collect personal data and the app displays no advertising, there is nothing to opt out of.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data about you — your photos and projects exist only on your device — you exercise these rights directly in the app: edit or delete your projects, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stores. For any other request, or if you believe we have handled your information incorrectly, contact us at photocollage@nordicsoft.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Norway, Datatilsynet).

9. Changes to this policy
Nordicsoft AS may update this privacy policy by posting a new version on this website. If we ever introduce features that collect personal data — for example analytics or advertising — we will update this policy and the app's store listing first. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are familiar with any changes.
